The base engine 3.6L V6 generates 305 horsepower and 269 lbs. ft. of torque, and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission system. Standard for the 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Limited, Longhorn, and Sport is the 5.7L V8 engine rated at 395 horsepower and 410 pounds-ft. of torque.
